Once again, Lismore is the centre of music, sport and fun

Lismore has a long journey ahead to rebuild after the flood, but Lismore City Council says upcoming events will help bring visitors and more than $12 million into the region.

City Centre Manager Jason Mumford said the best thing people in the Northern Rivers could do to help Lismore rebuild is attend these events, buy something in CBD shops, and help the local economy bounce back.

From national Little League baseball tournaments to the iconic annual Lismore Lantern Parade, from big gigs with big-name Aussie musicians to NORPA shows and our annual Lismore Aviation Expo, there is an event for everyone on Lismore’s calendar in the new few months.

"Over the next eight weeks we have an absolutely packed calendar of events… sporting events, major music and performance shows, cultural highlights and performances,” says Mumford. “There is something to suit young and old, and people of all tastes.”
