APPLY ADJUSTMENT PRESETS

Capture NX2 makes it easy to edit and convert a batch of images

Boost contrast and colour

Copy our folder of source images onto your hard drive. Browse to batch01.NEF and open it in Capture NX2. In the Quick Fix tab, drag the triangular white slider so that it rests under the right section of the graph. This brightens the under-exposed highlights. Boost Saturation to 19.

Save adjustment preset

Go to the Batch command and choose Save Adjustments. Make sure that the Quick Fix box is ticked. In the Save as field, type ‘Contrast & Colour boost’ to describe this adjustment preset. The adjustment preset will automatically be saved in Capture’s Settings folder.
