Taking in the wide view
Getting close-up views of the action is only part of the brief for a professional mountain bike photographer. It is important for Seb to also take shots that show the drama of the trail, and give a sense of scenery. For this shot Seb got Andy to frame the shot so the trail cut diagonally across the frame, with Chris executing a jump at the top right of the image. Getting the timing right, so the rider appeared perfectly within the gap in the trees, took several attempts .
