Seb says… The SB-800 used to be the top-of-the-range Nikon flashgun, but this has now been superseded by both the SB-900 and SB-910. I’m sticking with my two SB-800s as they are just that little bit smaller than the newer models – that’s an important factor if you carry around all your kit on your bike! I use the flashguns in manual mode, adjusting output using the power setting. Although many of my flash shots involve using radio triggers, for close-up wide-angle work, the flash can be left on the hotshoe.
