OUR PRO’S verdict

I love Andy’s shot of Chris powering through the berm on page 16, and it was a close contender for the title of Shot of the Day. But for overall drama you can’t beat this shot of Chris making this spectacular jump. It pulls together all the key techniques that Andy learnt today: we have the wide lens, the beautiful panning action to blur the background and the sense of theatre created by the two flashguns. Andy can really proud of the amount of progress he made with his action photography on our day in the forest.
