34 You need some luck to get a spec­tac­u­lar sun­set shot; even if you are in the right place and the right time, the at­mo­spheric con­di­tions do not al­ways play ball. But if you take the right shot, you can add the sun­set (or im­prove it) in Pho­to­shop. For con­vinc­ing re­sults you need a back­lit scene which is close to be­ing a sil­hou­ette. You can then add a Grad­u­ate Fill Ad­just­ment Layer which varies in colour through shades of or­ange, with this set to the Color blend mode.
