Use a light tent
33 Getting even lighting with indoor close-ups can be hard at the best of times, but it’s particularly tricky if you are shooting something shiny as this will reflect any light source you use to illuminate the scene. A great solution is to use a light tent, which is surrounds the subject with white translucent fabric. This then diffuses the light source outside the tent. Tents can drain the colour from metal objects, but you can correct this in post production.
