44 The clas­sic way to shoot seascapes and lakes is to use a re­ally long shut­ter speed to turn mov­ing wa­ter into a flat, milky sur­face. You need a solid tri­pod and an ND (neu­tral den­sity) fil­ter to get a shut­ter speed that’s over 20 sec­onds long.
