Heaven’s Fury Colorado , USA
This image is not only a good example of a strong focal point, but also of shooting in adverse weather conditions. There was a tornado warning in effect when this image was taken. Most of the community was in basements and shelters waiting for the worst, while I was going crazy trying to find something to shoot with the incredible sky behind it. I had to lay on my stomach with the camera just off the ground to get the angle right for this image. Shot handheld, with a Nikon D700 and Nikon 20mm lens.
