I al­ways en­joy any panoramic fea­ture and Mr Law­ton’s (is­sue 31) was no ex­cep­tion.

I thought you might be in­ter­ested to see how read­ers might ap­ply some of this ex­cel­lent ad­vice, even if they are with­out, or un­able to use, a tri­pod. I took one in ad­verse weather (be­low freez­ing in the Arc­tic Cir­cle – not con­ducive to tri­pod fid­dling!) and an­other in­side a build­ing where tripods were not al­lowed (Ni­daros Cathe­dral, Bond ex­hi­bi­tion).

Both panora­mas were shot hand held and Pho­tomerge was used to as­sem­ble them.
