Dave currently works as a duty manager at London City Airport, which gives him plenty of opportunities to photograph aeroplanes, though mainly commercial aircraft like British Airways Cityflyers and Embraer 170 and 190s. He has always had an interest in aircraft so his job is great for that, and he’s been helped and encouraged by the London City Airport AOSU (Airfield Operation Safety Unit). But he was still a D-SLR novice: “Prior to this day I had never moved away from the Auto setting for aircraft photography!”
