OUR PRO’S verdict

Dave’s passion for aircraft was obvious straight away, but he had the same problems as most beginners – the default settings for his camera were fine for everyday photography, but not this specialised area. But Dave is a quick learner, and as soon as I’d explained what settings to change and why, he understood straight away. It was great to see Dave’s skills and understanding developing during the day, and his obvious pleasure at getting the shots he always wanted but found it hard to achieve before. He got some great results, and I know he’ll go back to his hobby with new enthusiasm!
