01 Cypress Glow

This was shot a few miles from the ocean in the Point Reyes National Seashore, a protected area in Marin County, California. In the summer months the marine fog rolls in and blankets the road, creating a wonderful atmosphere. On this evening there wasn’t much fog, but the setting sun created just the amount of side light I was hoping for. I used my lens at 90mm to compress the perspective, tightening up the trees to create the effect of a giant tree tunnel.
