03 Stinger in the Sun

I found this yellow scorpion basking on a flat stone near my home, and I decided to experiment with combining two exposures so I could include the sun. I used my zoom lens for the background, and when I changed lenses to photograph the scorpion it noticed the movement and raised its tail. I waited for it to settle before taking the shot, with the last rays of the sun lighting its body.
