05 Night of the Pelicans

I was stranded by Kenya’s Lake Nakuru when my car broke down, and I had a great view of about 200 pelicans settling down to roost. I decided on a long exposure, with a burst of flash creating a ghostly impression of one of the stragglers flying in.
