Lee Filters Little Stopper
Extend your exposure times with this six-stop ND filter
If you enjoy shooting landscapes then the Little Stopper is a must-have for this year’s Christmas list. It’s designed to allow much longer exposure times and is rated at six stops, so (for example) will extend an exposure of 1/250 sec to 1/4 sec. In order to ensure that no light leaks between the filter and holder a thin foam pad is fitted to one side of the glass, forming a seal. This also helps to hold the filter in the holder while still enabling its easy removal.
Measuring 100x100mm, the Little Stopper uses the standard Lee filter holder rather than the more common, smaller, P-type. This means that you’ll need to add the Lee Foundation Kit to your list, but it is a set that will last a lifetime. Lee presents the Little Stopper in a foam-lined tin to ensure that the filter is protected when it isn’t in use.
