Keep the cast
There was a strong, cool colour cast in the underpass, but this added to the shot’s atmosphere, so Damien was anxious not to ‘correct’ it by setting auto white balance. He recommended setting Daylight white balance, as it’s fairly neutral, and won’t try to correct cool or warm casts (you can also use it to retain warm colours in sunsets). Paulo was shooting in RAW, so he could correct it afterwards, but getting it right in camera meant he could see how it might look straight away.
