Paulo knew his way around his D600, and he hit the streets running with Damien’s advice. Whereas before Paulo tended to lift his camera to his eye and shoot as an opportunity presented itself, Damien showed him how to slow down and frame things up before shooting, so he could anticipate more. He also encouraged Paulo to see the creative potential of colour.
