Nigel says… The best way to check your ex­po­sures is to use the his­togram view on the rear screen. Wa­ter­falls al­most al­ways fea­ture bright white high­lights, so ideally you want the his­togram to be as far to the right as pos­si­ble, but with­out be­ing cut off, or ‘clipped’, as this would re­sult in blown high­lights with no de­tail. If the his­togram is cut off, de­crease the exposure time to let in less light.
