If you want a different effect, you could try blending the frames using the Darken Blend Mode rather than Lighten. You needn’t make a new action from scratch for this. Instead, simply make a duplicate of the existing ‘Copy and Paste’ action and replace the step where the Lighten Blend Mode is used. To do this, drag the step to the trash then hit record and record the process of changing a layer’s Blend Mode to Darken.
