KELVIN

The Kelvin (K) scale is named after Lord Kelvin, a 19th-century British physicist. A Kelvin is a unit of measure for temperature, and in photography it’s used to describe the colour of different light sources, and of natural light at different times of the day.

COLOUR CAST

Colour casts are tints of cool blue or warm orange that need to be corrected in order to create more faithful colours.
