Go narrow

It’s a good idea to use a narrow aperture for these images. When you get close up to your subject even a small item fills the frame, and if you use a wide aperture such as f/2.8, you’ll only have a fragment of your subject in focus. Try keeping your aperture above f/8 or f/11 to ensure that more of your subject is sharp
