Video Nasty?

I have just begun reading the April issue and, therein, the letter by Robert R Williams. I have a Nikon D3s and rarely use the video feature. Video on an SLR is a gimmick, in my opinion. The techniques of video are a world apart and should not be covered in a magazine dedicated to photography. David Bailey, via email Many thanks for your thoughts, David.
