Enter today, and your photographs could be here next month…

Low light is one of the most testing environments for a photographer to tackle. Not only are there usually artificial lights sources to contend with, but add a moving subject, such as a person, and place them in a spacious environment, and you’ve got a really tricky theme for this month’s competition.

The winning shot embraced these difficulties rather than trying to overcome them, using the inevitable motion blur and multiple light sources to create something eye-catching, artistic and completely unique. With such a difficult technique to master it’s no surprise the entrants were of an extremely high standard, which the crowd vote winner shows, mixing the buzz of a busy bar with an urban landscape.
