“When you’re caught up in themomentphotographing animals and landscapes, it can be easy to stray from the path,” explains John, “but you need to be aware of your surroundings as it’s incredibly easy to get lost. You also need to watch out for the likes of spiders, ants or even snakes when you’re shooting close to trees, as their roots can harbour many creatures.”
