Expert insight moving pictures
Although not ideal, sometimes you may have to shoot from a moving vehicle when you’re travelling. We spent an afternoon in a fast boat on the Amazon river, and there were lots of boats carrying local people and ferrying kids to and from school. To make the most of an opportunity like this requires a fast shutter speed and panning the camera to track the other boats. Making sure your camera is set to its Continuous focusing mode, and firing bursts of shots will improve your chances of getting at least one sharp image, too.
