If you’d rather your camera bag doesn’t shout about its contents, and you like a bit of classic British design, the classy Billingham 307 is just the ticket. It’s beautifully made from a waterproof canvaslike material, and features leather accents and handles for an extra touch of class. Simple, silent fasteners secure the top flap, while the entrance to the main compartment has an aluminium and fibreglass rim that helps hold the bag open for ease of access.
Inside there’s space for a Nikon FX-format body and attached lens, plus two to three extra lenses. Two internal divider pods are included; we’d be tempted to buy extras. Two generously-sized front pockets can swallow a couple of flashguns and some smaller accessories, plus there’s space at the back of the bag for a tablet.
