While it may look reminiscent of a schoolboy’s satchel, the München is actually a hand-made camera bag that exudes quality in every stitch. The hardwearing canvas and leather materials give decent weather and scuff protection, the strap has a cut-resistant core, and inside the bag there’s a cushioned compartment insert that will protect your kit, but that can be completely removed to convert the München into a regular bag.
The preppy look doesn’t come cheap, though, and space is also at a premium. With just 11.5cm of internal depth to play with, it’s a squeeze to store a D810 and two moderately-sized lenses. At least there’s a pair of front pockets to provide a home for accessories like filters and spare batteries, plus you get an extra space for a tablet, but not much else.
