Kate says… My love of photography started when I gave up my career in brand marketing to start a family. I discovered the shortcut to turning a hobby into a profession was to sign up for a bespoke course with Aspire Photography Training (www. aspirephotographytraining.co.uk). This school doesn’t just teach you photography techniques, it teaches the philosophy and marketing skills you need to go pro too. I initially agonised over the cost, but it proved to be worth every penny. Five years on, I now lead courses in children’s portraiture, location lighting, weddings and more for Aspire. If you fancy going professional, I’d recommend you spend the time and money getting the right training.
