Real world meets lab

We made our prints exactly like you would, before scrutinising them in detail in the lab

We downloaded and installed the latest versions of drivers for each desktop printer, and ran nozzle check routines and cleaning cycles where required. We then carried out print head alignment procedures to ensure optimum accuracy.

Test prints were created from a range of landscape, portrait and black-and-white photos as well as our official test chart, printed at standard colour settings and also using the printers’ optional colour adjustments and photo enhancement features. Print speeds were measured for borderless 6x4 inch prints at normal quality settings, and for borderless A4, A3 and A3+ sizes (if available) in high quality mode.

We used the same images for the test chart and for the portrait, landscape and black-and-white photos when testing the online print labs. They were uploaded using the preferred online ordering process in each case.
