I refer back to ‘Ask Matt’ in Issue 46, when reader Michael O’Sullivan was faced with upgrading his version of Elements. An upgrade was said to be necessary in order to view RAW files from his D5200. I had a similar problem with Elements 11 and my D610, but found a cheaper alternative to upgrading Elements. The solution is to download the Adobe DNG convertor, which can convert RAW files to DNGs. The DNG file can then be processed by earlier versions of Elements.
