Here’s how to shoot your sunset sequence...

Get your priorities straight

Use aperture-priority mode (A). Although you are aiming to see difference­s between the images, you also want clean, even exposures throughout. This mode will allow you to set a fixed aperture and ISO, then balance the exposure with a variable shutter speed. We used f/22 and ISO100.

Shoot at intervals

Go to Shooting Menu> Interval timer shooting, then set a shooting duration using the arrow keys. Make it long enough to capture the entire sunrise/set. Next, set an interval between shots of around two minutes. It is better to take more than you need so you have a choice later.
