JARGON BUSTER
Key terms explained
GAMUT
This term refers to a range of colours. Computer screens can display a wider range of colours than your printer can reproduce. Colours that are unprintable are said to be ‘out-of-gamut’ colours.
sRGB
This is short for standard RGB, which is the colour space that’s used by electronic displays to reproduce millions of colours. It’s the default colour space used by your Nikon D-SLR.
