Tim Page was just 20 and work­ing in Laos when his pho­to­graphs of an at­tempted coup in 1964 re­sulted in a move to Saigon to work for UPI.

In 1997, he and for­mer AP pho­tog­ra­pher Horst Faas pub­lished

a book de­voted to the lives and work of the 134 pho­tog­ra­phers killed or miss­ing in ac­tion dur­ing the wars in Viet­nam and Cam­bo­dia.
