OUR PRO’S VERDICT

Caroline was a delight to work with. She showed really good technical knowledge of her camera and has an eye for creating a strong composition. Combining the skills she already has with the basic lighting techniques that we worked on, I’m sure her work will improve even further now. I love the shallow depth of field in Caroline’s Shot of the Day. It really draws your eye onto the subject. The plate the cake is shot on adds colour and texture, and just adding a simple sprinkle of icing sugar (we used a sieve – see Pro’s Killer Kit #02) really made the image pop and look even more appetising.
