03 Experience a flash back

Start with the edge lighting. Set up your first flash on a stand behind the subject, angled back towards the subject and camera. Most flashes come with a plastic base that enables you to connect it to a stand or tripod. Attach a wireless trigger (see Essential Skill, below) and set the flash to Manual power.
