Western Digital has created a truly mobile storage drive, featuring either a one or two-terabyte disk, internal battery and an SD card reader. The drive can be used as a conventional wired drive or completely wirelessly. Wi-Fi can also be used to connect directly to your mobile phone via an app. Once the connection is made it’s then possible to view and download images from SD cards, as well as the drive itself. It’s very easy to use and the app is well laid out, but you do sacrifice a little speed for convenience.
