Ja­son says... Go for the macro lens if you want to shoot close-ups of tiny ob­jects. If you don’t want to do that, buy the 85mm with its wider avail­able aper­ture for en­abling a tighter depth of field in por­trai­ture, and faster shut­ter speeds in gen­eral shoot­ing.
