Cullmann Amsterdam Maxima 520
£82, $107
Shoulder bags come in many shapes, but the Amsterdam’s boxy 200mm depth and 170mm height make it especially versatile. There’s space for two Nikons, one with a 70-200mm f/2.8 attached, or both can be paired with smaller lenses at a push. Up to three extra lenses will nestle on one side of your Nikon. Although there isn’t enough space for an additional row of optics on the other side, there is enough remaining room inside for a flashgun and smaller accessories. A pair of large front pockets adds some handy storage, but access to the main compartment isn’t exactly tricky. A rigid frame around the opening allows the bag to open wide, though it’s a pity this isn’t spring-loaded to ensure it stays fully open.
Generous interior padding, quality build, exterior tripod fasteners, and a grippy, comfortable strap seal this very well-priced deal.
