Autumn Woodlands
Ceri Jones
(Beech, Fagaceae; Pine, Pinus) Woodcote, Oxfordshire, England
This scene was taken in my local woods on a misty autumn morning. I loved the warm colours of the autumn beech trees, which provide a natural frame around a view into pinewoods with a much cooler appearance. The camera was tripod-mounted. Nikon D800, 28-300mm, 1/10 sec, f/16, ISO400
