Merest Glimpse

(European otter, Lutra lutra) Shetland Isles, Scotland

A female otter and her cub came ashore close in front of me, but behind a pile of boulders. She then left the cub with a fish to eat and headed back to the sea. I could just see the tiniest glimpses of the cub through a gap in the rocks as it ate. I crept in closer and managed to capture one shot as the cub briefly looked up.
