SEPARATING SIMILAR COLOURS

1 Here, the challenge was to separate the orange trunk and the yellow-green rock into distinct shades of grey. 2 In Photoshop I made a Hue/ Saturation Adjustment Layer and changed the trunk to magenta. 3 A Black-and-White Adjustment Layer lightened the yellows and greens while darkening reds and magentas.
