Introduction

In the middle of the countryside the sun was just beginning to rise, and bright pink and purple light cascaded across the fields. The abandoned farm house, which is now home to one female little owl and her two chicks, was lit up by the colourful sky. Harry and Elliott crept past the house to sit in the bird hide and got set up before waiting for the owls to stir.
