Experiment with colour

Try a few different colours. Remember that coloured light combines in a different way to coloured pigments – blue and green create cyan; red and green create yellow. Try multiple combinations of gels. You could even cut the plastic so there are two colours on one flashgun, so it’s possible to have up to four colours in your final shot.
