Wherever you are there’s likely to be a suitable airport or airfield nearby. The busier the better (Heathrow is the busiest in Europe) as this’ll mean more air traffic, less time waiting around. If you’re in the UK, Manchester has a great reputation among plane spotters, having dedicated viewing areas. Further afield, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Zurich all offer excellent views of the aircraft. Atlanta is the world’s busiest airport, with Beijing second.
