Introduction

It was overcast when Heather and Ida met up and headed down to Heather’s local park in Surrey, to find some suitably autumnal subjects. They laced up their walking boots and equipped their Nikons with macro lenses before striding off into the woods to seek out their first shot of the day. Before they got started, though, Heather asked Ida to take a few shots using her usual macro settings, so she could see if there was any room for improvement.
