Happy birthday to us, happy birthday to us, happy birthday

N-Photo... happy birthday to us! Yes, that’s right, this issue marks N-Photo’s 5th birthday, and we’ve got you, our loyal readers, to thank for the fact that N-Photo continues to go from strength to strength.

Many of you have been with us since the very first issue, which in itself is pretty remarkable. One of the reasons, I think, is that we always do our best to apply a bit of joined-up thinking when we’re putting N-Photo together, and this issue is no exception. Inspired by Seb Rogers’ amazing wide-angle mountain-biking shots on page 94? You can find out which is the best sort of lens for ultra-wide shooting on page 88. Want to try James Paterson’s project on blurring moving water (page 34)? We’ve got an app that will help you work out everything from exposure times to hyperfocal distance (page 16). Keen to follow Michael Freeman’s brilliant editing advice on page 78? We unveil the best software for RAW processing on page 110. You get the idea. It’s all part of what makes N-Photo so unique. Well, that and our almost unhealthy obsession with all things Nikon...
