Gary’s first tip was for Tony to stabilise the end of the lens with his hand. “By placing one hand on top of the end of a long telephoto lens you have better control over the panning of the camera. You no longer get as much of that up and down movement when moving from side to side, and it makes positioning your rider precisely where you want them a lot easier.”
