Stop it down

When making these longer exposure pans, keep your aperture stopped down. Tony used f/8 to increase his depth of field and enhance the sharpness of the rider as he passed by. At wider apertures (such as f/2.8) the depth of field is simply too small, so you risk missing the focus altogether.
