Waiting in Stream

This shot combines both creativity and technical expertise to convey a sense of modern culture. The woman framed to the left is motionless and engaged with her smartphone, but Masayuki has shot the scene with a slow enough shutter speed to blur the pedestrians rushing around her. Because she’s sharp, all of our attention is placed on her. We can even recognise from the the signs in the background that she’s in a train or metro station, despite most of the frame being blurred.
